Summary of Position

Kinsley is currently seeking Pipe Foreman for our growing Civil site pipe crews based in North East, MD. Successful candidates should possess a willingness to learn, have a good work ethic and a positive attitude.

Typical Responsibilities / Essential Functions

Effectively lead, manage, and motivate crews of 5 to 10 individuals

Supervise the installation of new pipes in trench for storm or sanitation sewers, drains, and water mains

Successfully manage and schedule subcontractors

Interpret blueprints, project plans, and specifications

Plan and schedule for necessary manpower, tools, materials, and equipment needed to complete the job

Responsible for completing daily timesheets and maintaining daily logs

Job Site Hazard Recognition and Safety Compliance

Equipment Maintenance and Operation as needed.

Perform other related duties as required.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of field leadership experience is required

Must possess knowledge of GPS systems

Ability to follow and enforce all correct safety procedures

Applicants should possess knowledge of underground utility installation, excavation regulations, and pipeline safety

Minimum of 3 years' experience is required for the equipment operator position

Ability to work in a crew-based and fast-paced environment

Punctuality and dependability are required

Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods and sometimes in unfavorable weather conditions

Perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms, legs and moving whole body such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, and handling of materials

Ability to work both independently and as a team player

Ability to pass DOT pre-employment physical and drug/alcohol screening

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
