**SUMMARY OF ROLE:**

\$1,200 Sign-On Bonus

Skilled/ Experience Level 3 or 4 - \$22-\$28 /hr + Shift Differential

Day shift (\$1.50) & Night shift (\$3.00)

\*12 hour shift Rotating Schedule - Days 8am-8pm Nights 8pm-8am

Ensure parts injection molding machines and assembly equipment to

support production and quality efforts.

**YOU BRING THESE SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:**

**SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:**

- Minimum 57 years of hands-on injection molding experience, ideally

in a packaging or fitment manufacturing environment.

- Prior experience with scientific molding principles (e.g., RJG,

Decoupled Molding) is a strong plus

- Advanced knowledge of injection molding processes, especially

related to small, precision plastic components like fitments

- Expert in operating injection molding machines, including starting

up, shutting down, and ensuring proper machine functioning.

- Advanced experience working with multiple types of resins (e.g., PP,

PE, TPE) and hot runner systems.

- Adjusting machine parameters, such as temperature, pressure, speed,

and injection time, based on material specifications and part

design.

- Ability to operate multiple types of injection molding machines

(e.g., hydraulic, electric, hybrid).

- Expert level knowledge of troubleshooting of hydraulic, pneumatic,

and electrical systems on injection molding equipment

- Advance knowledge of mold cooling, heating systems, and various mold

components.

- Expert level experience with SPC, root cause analysis (RCA), and

corrective action processes.

- Experience leading teams or mentoring junior operator

- Follow up change over process to run different products

- Performing in-process quality checks, such as measuring part

dimensions, appearance, and tolerances, using tools like calipers,

micrometers, or visual inspection

- Following strict safety protocols, including proper handling of hot

molds, high-pressure machines, and other potentially hazardous

materials

- Monitoring the production run to ensure the molding process

continues smoothly and efficiently and entering production data into

computer system

- Documenting and reporting production and quality data, ensuring

products meet specifications.

- Assist maintenance in troubleshooting and repairing during the

mechanical downtime

- Assist the management in improving safety, quality, and production

- Able to work on different assembly lines and production equipment

- Ability to maintain or exceed with the production lines quotas and

rates

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:**

As an at-will employer, SIG/Scholle IPN serves the right to add to or

modify this list to the extent it deems necessary.

- Set up and operate complex injection molding machines, including

auxiliary equipment (e.g., dryers, loaders, robots).

- Optimize molding parameters to ensure consistent quality, cycle

times, and minimal scrap.

- Troubleshoot process and mechanical issues with minimal supervision.

- Monitor part quality, including dimensional checks and visual

inspections specific to fitment requirements

- Meet or exceed daily/shift production targets while minimizing

downtime

- Counts and reports scrap produced for Assembly Machines.

- Record production data, downtime causes, and material usage

accurately in production tracking systems.

- Completes daily production reports.

- Inputs data into the BaaN system.

- Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks

information on cases, bales, or other containers.

- Maintains a high level of cleanliness of work areas in accordance

with 5S and SQF guidelines.

- Performs rework, sorting and documen ation of held ware.

- Mentor and train lower-level operators (Level 13) on machine

operation, safety, and quality procedures.

- Reports on quality and productivity related problems to the QC

Technician, Process Technician, Lead Technician and/or Shift Manager

- Lead by example in safety practices, housekeeping (5S), and

adherence to company values.

- Defines work instructions for first piece inspections of assembly

equipment.

**EDUCATION:**

- High school diploma or G.E.D required.

- Technical certification or vocational training in injection molding

is highly preferred

**WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:**

The physical demands described here are representative of those that

must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential

functions of this job.

Must be able to move and/or lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Frequently standing, walking and sitting.
