Due to continued growth, Simmers Crane Design & Services, A Flatiron Crane Operating Company, is looking for a Shop Welder/Fabricator to join their highly skilled team. Feel a great sense of pride and ownership as you are seen as the expert that helps keep businesses running.

Upon receipt of an offer of employment, candidates must satisfactorily complete the required drug screen, physical, and background checks

Job Responsibilities:

* Prepare and paint cranes and crane components

* Sandblast and clean material to prep for painting

* Follow preparation procedures to ensure product is ready for paint

* Responsible for cleaning and maintaining of paint equipment and area

* Assist with overall shop upkeep and various shop tasks

Qualifications:

* High school diploma or GED.

* At least 1 year in an industrial environment or similar military experience.

* Skills and experience in welding and mechanical maintenance.

* Team approach to problem solving.

* Computer literate; Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

* Ability to interface with internal and external customers.
