Construction Administrator
Job Description

The Construction Administrator is responsible for overseeing projects as they transition into the construction phase. This role involves attending construction meetings, conducting regular site visits, generating field reports, and coordinating with architects and designers. The position requires a strong field and construction background , with an emphasis on decision-making and client interaction.

Responsibilities

  • Pick up projects as they enter the construction phase.
  • Attend and participate in construction meetings.
  • Conduct regular site visits and generate comprehensive field reports.
  • Respond to requests for information promptly.
  • Process contractor payment applications efficiently.
  • Review and process change orders and shop drawings.
  • Coordinate with architects and designers to ensure project alignment.
Essential Skills

  • Ability to manage projects independently
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Degree in a relevant field strongly preferred
  • 7+ years of experience in construction administration, preferably with educational or public buildings
  • Experience with capital improvement projects is a plus
  • Proficiency in REVIT is desirable
  • Licensure is advantageous but not required
