Thornton Tomasetti, Inc. seeks Senior Designer - Renewal in New York, NY to prepare analysis and designs for building elements and systems. Requirements: Masters degree or foreign equivalent in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation: gathering field information required to assemble detailed sets of drawings and specifications; preparing report of findings, analyzing conditions observed and providing recommendations for further action; working with details for building construction to observe the work while construction is in progress and direct contractor to correct construction mistakes/defects; utilizing software including AutoCAD; and utilizing project management tools including field wire to document field conditions and manage reports. Offered salary is between $96,138 and $96,138 per year. 40 hours per week. Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies. Compensation

The rate for this position generally is $96,138 - $96,138 . This range is a good faith estimate provided pursuant to the New York Pay Transparency Law. It is based on what a successful New York applicant might be paid and assumes that the successful candidate will be in New York or perform the position from New York. Similar positions located outside of New York will not necessarily receive the same compensation. Actual pay rates may vary from the range, as permitted by New York Equal Pay Transparency Law. Compensation offers will be based on various factors, including operational needs, individual education, qualifications and experience, work location and comparison to employee already in the role, as well as other considerations permitted by law. A potential new employees pay history will not be used in compensation decisions.
