Note: The hourly rate for this position is $25 - $35 / hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. Responsibilities:

  • Create and reference blueprints throughout a project
  • Construct various frameworks for structures, including walls, ceilings and floors
  • Installing and repairing material, ceiling grids, and other acoustic components
  • Use machinery, such as boom lifts, to perform duties
  • Cut and shape various materials
  • Ensure structures, framework and materials are up to code and undamaged
  • Follow written and oral instruction given from the supervisor
  • Have the ability to work from heights of 10-40+ ft. with no issues while harnessed in
  • Display strong math skills for measuring, cutting, and installing materials with little to no errors

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of acoustic carpentry experience
  • Must have all basic hand tools, power drills, impacts, power saws, sander, compressor tools, etc
  • Reliable transportation Work well as a team or independently, as needed
  • Be reliable and committed to finishing each project until the end with minimal absences
  • Demonstrate good communication skills with employer and supervisor
  • Have a positive and results driven attitude to work quickly and efficiently
  • Ability to work in variable weather (cold, heat, windy, etc)
  • Ability to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the day with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Must be able to complete background check to get on to the military base
