Forklift Operator**
**Job Description**
Join a leading company specializing in copper and copper alloy manufacturing. We are currently seeking a dedicated Forklift Operator for our expanding Delaware location. Contribute to a dynamic team and grow with us as we ramp up our production capabilities.
**Responsibilities**
+ Handle shipping and receiving duties within the facility.
+ Move bulk materials to appropriate locations for production staff.
+ Operate sit-down (gas and electric) forklifts to assist with material handling.
+ Receive cross-training in various roles, including production and general labor.
+ Maintain a clean facility.
+ Stay proactive during working hours and assist the team where needed.
**Essential Skills**
+ 2 years of forklift operation experience, primarily with sit-down forklifts.
+ 2 years of experience in material handling within a manufacturing or warehouse setting.
+ Willingness and ability to be trained and assist with other tasks around the facility.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ High School Diploma or GED required.
+ Ability to perform physical labor throughout the workday.
+ Regularly lift and move items up to 50 pounds.
+ Proficiency in using standard sit-down forklifts (gas or electric).
+ Proactive in proposing solutions and good verbal communication skills.

**Work Environment**
Work in a clean, comfortable, and organized environment within a machine and weld shop. Engage with a team of 12 on the production floor. The facility is non-climate controlled. Enjoy a first-shift schedule from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, transitioning to 4 10-hour days from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Thursday.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Delaware, Ohio.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
