Capital Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Capital Project Manager to oversee the full lifecycle of capital projects within our biopharmaceutical operations. This role will be responsible for leading cross-functional efforts from concept through project closeout while ensuring compliance with our Capital Project Management Process (CPMP). The ideal candidate will bring a solid background in construction project management, a working knowledge of automation/electrical systems, and experience in a GMP-regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of capital projects in alignment with the Capital Project Management Process (CPMP).
• Develop and implement project execution plans, project-specific EHS plans, and detailed schedules using Primavera P6 or equivalent tools.
• Manage project costs including cost reporting, forecasting, and change order control; prepare funding requests and maintain capital dashboards.
• Identify and mitigate project risks through proactive risk management strategies and conduct root cause analysis on project-related issues.
• Ensure all project changes are captured through formal change controls and drive project validation, testing, start-up, and engineering documentation turnover.
• Coordinate training activities and facilitate project turnover to operational sponsors.
• Maintain strong alignment with internal stakeholders including engineering, operations, QA, and EHS teams throughout the project lifecycle.
