Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Fabrication Production Supervisor
\n\n
to oversee our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership
\n\n
skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to ensuring the highest standards of quality and
\n\n
efficiency in our production processes. As a Fabrication Production Supervisor, you will be
\n\n
responsible for managing and coordinating the activities of production workers, ensuring that
\n\n
production targets are met and maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
\n\n
\n\n
Responsibilities:
\n\n
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of production workers, including assigning tasks,
\n\n
monitoring progress and providing guidance and support as needed.
\n\n
- Ensure that production schedules are met and that production targets are achieved
\n\n
within established timelines and quality standards.
\n\n
- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures related to safety, quality
\n\n
control, and production efficiency.
\n\n
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery to ensure proper functioning
\n\n
and identify any maintenance or repair needs.
\n\n
- Train new employees on production processes, safety protocols, and quality standards,
\n\n
and provide ongoing coaching and development to existing staff.
\n\n
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the supply chain team to ensure that
\n\n
materials and components are available for production as needed.
\n\n
- Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering, quality assurance, and
\n\n
maintenance, to resolve production issues and implement process improvements.
\n\n
- Maintain accurate records of production activities, including production output, quality
\n\n
control data, and employee attendance and performance.
\n\n
- Lead by example in promoting a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous
\n\n
improvement among production staff.
\n\n
- Conduct performance evaluations for production workers and provide feedback on
\n\n
areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.
\n\n
\n\n
Qualifications:
\n\n
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a Fabrication environment, with at least 2
\n\n
years in a supervisory or leadership role.
\n\n
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and tools, with a focus on
\n\n
lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
\n\n
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a
\n\n
team to achieve common goals.
\n\n
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and the ability to make sound decisions under
\n\n
pressure.
\n\n
- Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and manufacturing
\n\n
software applications.
\n\n
- Solid understanding of safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing setting.
\n\n
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively
\n\n
communicate with employees at all levels of the organization.
\n\n
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing
\n\n
priorities and deadlines.
\n\n
- Must have five years of experience in both press operation and laser operation.
\n\n
