TITLE: Inventory Supervisor

REPORTS TO: Maintenance Supervisor

JOB GOAL: To supervise or maintain operations in the receipt, storage, inventory, and issuance of materials and supplies

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Any combination of training and experience which would lead to successful employment as an inventory supervisor
  • Ability to do the following:
  1. estimate materials that need to be ordered

  2. understand and effectively carry out oral and written instructions

  3. maintain proper records as required

  4. lift and carry and/or push/pull up to 50 pounds at a time

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:

  • Responsible for warehouse organization
  • Plan and carry out the warehousing program for equipment and supplies
  • Load and unload trucks as assigned
  • Unpack items received and inspect for damages or defects
