Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Observe and implement lean manufacturing methods in all job assignments
Maintain spindle turning at maximum at all times
Ensure parts and tools are loaded correctly and that quality is consistently maintained throughout the assignment
Change and adjust cutters under supervision as instructed
Learn and adhere to University Swaging policies and procedures, particularly BQMS standards directly related to work center
Grease up and tear down of a swager when needed
Advanced body swaging
Basic inserts and dual path assembly while supervised
MO abbreviation understanding
All swaging abbreviations and locations
Perform other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent
2 months to 1 year of experience
Knowledge of general metal forming processes using a wide variety of machine tools
Know how to maintain a clean and orderly work area
Blueprint reading and basic math skills
MO abbreviation understanding
All swaging abbreviations and locations
Good manual dexterity
Basic English language skills and ability to read, follow, and interpret planning and work order instructions
Good attendance, good attitude, and ability to professionally communicate and work cooperatively with others
Good attention to detail
Willingness to learn and, as required, help and/or train others

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $24.00 to $28.00 US Dollar (USD) Hourly based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company's Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1X the Company's bonus multiple, based on the Company's performance in the applicable quarter.
