Entry-Level Project Manager / Estimator - Heavy Construction Location: Buffalo, WY Job Type: Full-Time Reports To: Senior Project Manager / Estimating Manager --- Company Overview: WyoDak Energy Services is a well-established heavy construction company specializing in, oil & gas, earthwork, utilities, and civil construction projects. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Project Manager/Estimator to join our growing team. --- Position Summary: The Entry-Level Project Manager/Estimator will assist in planning, budgeting, and managing heavy construction projects from start to finish. This dual-role position is ideal for someone looking to grow their skills in both project management and cost estimating within the heavy construction industry. --- Key Responsibilities: Estimating Duties: Assist in preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for heavy construction projects. Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project documents. Perform quantity takeoffs and develop scope of work. Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes. Support bid preparation and submission processes. Project Management Duties: Assist in the coordination and execution of construction projects under the supervision of senior staff. Track project schedules, budgets, and deliverables. Help manage jobsite logistics, subcontractor coordination, and materials delivery. Participate in project meetings, document control, and progress reporting. Support compliance with safety policies and procedures on job sites. --- Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred (or equivalent field experience). Internship or prior construction experience a plus but not required. Strong math and analytical skills. Basic knowledge of construction methods, materials, and project phases. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); familiarity with estimating or project management software a plus. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Willingness to learn, take initiative, and grow with the company. --- Working Conditions: Office and field environment. Must be able to visit construction sites as needed.
