Machine Builder Job Description We are seeking a Machine Builder to join our team. In this role, you will perform repetitive plumbing and mechanical assembly or simple electro mechanical assembly involving sensitive or precise dexterous movements. You will be required to maintain pace and quality of assembly work and follow all policies and guidelines regarding workplace safety and product quality. You will receive components or items for assembly and/or test in programmed sequence, and assemble mechanical or electrical components by means of sensitive hand and equipment coordination. Responsibilities Assemble all variations of in-house standard products. Follow assembly and test instructions. Use simple hand or power tools along with uncomplicated jigs and fixtures. Enter work hours in ERP system (Currently SAP). Drive the continuous improvement process. Conduct daily housekeeping/5S audits to ensure continuous improvement activities. Read and interpret blueprints. Maintain equipment and area in a clean, safe condition. Essential Skills Plumbing and mechanical assembly. Electro mechanical assembly. Hand and equipment coordination. Use of simple hand or power tools. Use of uncomplicated jigs and fixtures. Use of ERP system (SAP). Reading and interpreting blueprints. Additional Skills & Qualifications Minimum 6 months' relevant experience required. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Proficient in the use of hand tools. Why Work Here? You will be working in a clean industrial facility with about 30-40 employees per shift. You will be required to lift up to 50 lbs independently. Any heavier lifting will be team-lifted or rigged. Work hours are 1st shift 6am-2:30pm or 2nd shift 2pm-10:30pm, with some flexibility once trained. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Colorado Springs, Colorado. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
