Production Supervisor

Production Supervisor**We are seeking a Production Supervisor to lead and oversee the daily operations of our steel fabrication facility. The Production Supervisor will be responsible for being a head of a team of fabricators, ensuring quality control, maintaining a safe working environment, and accurate project completion. A Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification is preferred but not required.Key Responsibilities:- Team Leadership:Supervise and coordinate the activities of fabrication personnel, ensuring adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and safety protocols.- Safety Compliance:Enforce health and safety regulations, ensuring proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and conducting regular safety meetings and inspections.- Quality Control:Monitor production processes to ensure that all fabricated components meet specified quality and dimensional standards.- Training and Development:Provide training, mentoring, and performance feedback to team members to enhance skills and productivity.- Production Management: Schedule, supervise and execute daily production. Interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and procedures to manage multiple projects effectively.- Resource Management:Ensure materials and resources are available to meet project deadlines and maintain productivity.- Problem-Solving:Address any defects or deviations from project requirements and implement corrective actions as necessary.Required Qualifications- 5 years in any manufacturing facility role with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Previous experience as a lead or supervisor is required.- Ability to use Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, and Word.- Proficiency in interpreting shop drawings, weld symbols, and fabrication procedures.- Ability to problem solve with little to no supervision.- Comprehensive understanding of safety procedures and regulations in a fabrication environment.- Commit to maintaining high-quality standards and attention to detail.- Ability to communicate at a high level with professionalism both verbally and written.- Strong leadership abilities with experience in supervising and developing a team.**Military Veterans are encouraged to apply!**
