Maintenance Technician (HVAC)

We are looking for a reliable and skilled Property Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for the day-to-day upkeep, repair, and maintenance of residential or commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in general maintenance tasks, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team to keep properties in safe, clean, and working condition. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance of property systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural components. Handle general repairs such as patching drywall, painting, fixing leaks, replacing fixtures, and maintaining flooring and appliances. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repair needs. Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of common areas, grounds, and exterior property spaces. Assist with seasonal tasks such as snow removal, landscaping, and gutter cleaning. Ensure all maintenance tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored. Keep maintenance logs and complete work orders accurately and in a timely manner. Communicate with property management or tenants regarding service issues or scheduling repairs. Follow safety procedures and local building codes to maintain compliance. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required. 1-3 years of experience in property or building maintenance preferred. Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting. Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively. Strong attention to detail and time management skills. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
