Project Environmental/Civil Engineer

Your role at GEI. GEI Consultants, Inc. continues to grow and expand, both in our technical services offerings and geographic coverage. GEI is seeking a Project Environmental/Civil Engineer to help expand its growing business within our Mt. Laurel, NJ office. Primary Responsibilities: Perform data management and analysis, prepare reports and technical presentations for delivery to clients and regulators. Provide technical oversight for complex field assignments or construction management as needed. Overnight and weekly travel may be needed to lead these field teams depending on scope and staffing. Coordinate and lead office and field tasks and provide project management support. Assist in developing scopes of work and proposals. Support development of conceptual site models, remediation strategies and design packages. Provide mentorship and training for junior staff. Some overnights may be required. Candidates should be prepared to work in inclement conditions. Qualifications: B.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering, M.S. is a plus. EIT, PE or ability to obtain. 40-hour HAZWOPER training. 4 to 8+ years of previous professional experience in environmental consulting, knowledge of NJ or PA environmental regulations a plus. Proficiency in report writing and excellent communication skills are required. Candidate must be willing and able to travel on short-term assignments as needed. Valid U.S. Driver's license. Due to client requirements for anticipated projects, candidate must be willing to submit to and pass random drug screenings. We are GEI.
