A position is available for a Geotechnical Engineer -- Foundations/Slope Stability (Seattle) with Geosyntec Consultants, Inc. located in Seattle, Washington.
The Geotechnical Engineer -- Foundations/Slope Stability (Seattle) position will work directly and closely with geotechnical engineers, engineering geologists, and other professionals to support a wide variety of clients on technically challenging geotechnical projects.
Candidates for this position must have a Master's degree in Civil, Geotechnical, or Geological Engineering; 1 year of experience in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering or closely related position; 1 year of experience with overseeing and logging geotechnical field explorations, including drilled borings, CPTs, and test pits; 1 year of experience using slope stability, liquefaction, and foundation analysis software; and 1 year of experience related to construction quality assurance, including shallow foundation and pavement subgrades, deep foundation construction, and structural backfill. Up to 20% national travel required. The salary range for this position is $92,123.00 - $96,500.00 per year. Eligible for discretionary bonuses.
