Millwright - long term, direct hire opportunity!

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Millwright for a local manufacturing company in Sumas! This is a long-term, career opportunity that is working for a company that is known for taking care of its employees and has been providing world-class service since it was founded in 1951. **Pay: $31.81-$40.15 per hour**

**Position Type: Direct Hire

Location: Sumas, WA**

**Shift: 12-hour shifts, must be able to work Monday through Sunday with rotating days off.**

**Shift Time: Rotating days and nights**

**Job Duties & Responsibilities include:**

- Maintain smooth operation of machinery and mechanical equipment.

- Troubleshooting specific industrial equipment by using precise measuring and testing instruments.

- Dismantling and reassembling of equipment using hand and power tools.

- Inspecting and assessing wear and remaining useful life of various power transmission components.

- Utilizing Maximo, a computerized maintenance management system.

- Maintaining a safe and clean working environment by complying with the company's procedures, rules, and regulations.

**Education and/or Experience Required:**

- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Millwright.

- 3 years of Maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment

- Excellent working knowledge of appropriate use of hand tools and maintenance equipment

- Ability to read and understand detailed repair & instruction manuals

- Must be able to work with computer-based maintenance software

- Must supply own hand tools appropriate to the equipment and environment
