JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a skilled Corian Solid Surface Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in fabricating, installing, and repairing Corian and other solid surface materials for residential and commercial projects. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of solid surface fabrication techniques to deliver high-quality countertops, vanities, and other custom surfaces.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Cut, shape, and finish Corian and other solid surface materials using hand tools, power tools, and CNC machinery to meet project specifications.
- Install fabricated solid surface products, ensuring proper alignment, seam integration, and a polished finish at client sites.
- Measure and create templates for countertops and other surfaces, ensuring accurate fit and design.
- Sand, polish, and seal solid surfaces to achieve a flawless finish, addressing imperfections and ensuring durability.
- Perform seamless joining techniques, including adhesive application and clamping, to create invisible seams.
- Inspect finished products for quality, ensuring they meet client expectations and industry standards.
- Maintain and clean fabrication tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Work closely with designers, project managers, and clients to interpret blueprints, sketches, and specifications.
- Adhere to workplace safety protocols and proper handling of materials, chemicals, and tools.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company guidelines, policies and procedures, and applicable laws. Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in carpentry, woodworking, or countertop fabrication is preferred.
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in solid surface fabrication, preferably with Corian or similar materials.
Proficiency in using fabrication tools (e.g., routers, sanders, saws, and CNC machines).
Knowledge of solid surface material properties and adhesive systems
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
Strong attention to detail and precision in measurements and cuts
Basic math skills for calculating dimensions and material requirements
Certification in Corian fabrication or related training is a plus but not required
Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities.

- Work is performed in a fabrication shop and at client sites, which may include residential homes, commercial buildings, or construction sites.
