PFBA is looking for a new team member who shares the Association's core values of professional, focused, building connections and above & beyond. PFBA operates with the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) operating system, which is a complete set of simple tools and a proven process to produce powerful business results.

This role involves a mix of strategic thinking, project management, membership engagement, financial analysis, and research coordination. The manager is responsible for enhancing the association's membership experience, driving growth, managing partnerships, and supporting the organization's strategic objectives.

As Business Development Manager, you will lead initiatives that directly impact the growth, experience, and long-term sustainability of our association.

Responsibilities:

Membership Cycle Management:

Develop, organize, and oversee the entire membership cycle for an association with 260 business members.

Manage the membership experience for several thousand individuals within the member businesses.

Lead membership experience project management initiatives.

New Member Onboarding and Automation:

Develop and establish an effective onboarding system for new members, including automation processes.

Enhancing Membership Experience:

Analyze current membership experience and implement improvements to enhance overall satisfaction.

Brand Strategy Execution:

Execute the brand strategy project based on the outcomes of the National 2023 Brand Strategy Workshop.

Membership Growth Strategy:

Set and work towards the goal of achieving 400 members by the year 2030.

Member Engagement:

Ensure consistent and meaningful engagement of association members.

Feasibility Studies and Project Recommendations:

Conduct feasibility studies using program and member data to inform decision-making.

Recommend and implement projects based on analysis.

Budget Analysis and Management:

Analyze the financial impact of new and current projects and programs.

Provide final recommendations regarding project outcomes.

Financial Opportunities and Partnerships:

Research financial opportunities available to the association.

Manage partnerships with strategic partners, sponsors, and collaborative research initiatives.

Reporting and Documentation:

Prepare and submit reports to sponsors and agencies supporting the association.

Provide documentation for trademark applications related to proprietary opportunities.

National Partner Relations:

Research and establish partnerships with national organizations and entities.

Research and Economic Data Collaboration

Collaborate with state agencies, government bodies, and faculty members on public/private research and economic data analysis.

Analyze and disseminate data and brand story to various media, journals, and publications.
