Filling Operator Job Description The Filling Operator I will be responsible for the full spectrum of duties in controlled filling and ancillary rooms. Following company guidelines, this role includes setting up and operating automated filling and support equipment, completing paperwork and logbook entries, and performing clean-up of equipment and room. The operator will also collect samples, perform fill weight checks, and assist with preventive maintenance tasks. Responsibilities Set up and operate automated filling and support equipment such as fillers, stoppering units, and cappers. Complete applicable paperwork and logbook entries for the filling rooms in accordance with approved procedures. Follow all written procedures for operation of the fill room. Perform clean-up of equipment and room, including walls and floor, as necessary. Collect samples, perform fill weight checks, and other quality checks as necessary. Assist with or perform preventive maintenance tasks on filling equipment, such as inspection and cleaning of machine parts, as may be required. Essential Skills Experience with pharmaceutical production, GMP and SOP standards. Ability to inspect and operate production line and packing machinery. Knowledge of cleanroom and aseptic techniques. Skill in machine operation. Additional Skills & Qualifications Minimum of 1 year experience operating production equipment and/or operating analytical instrumentation. 2 years experience as a Clean Room Operator. Work Environment This role is situated in a very clean and sterile environment where lab coats, shoe covers, and hair nets must be worn at all times. Employees are required to change into scrubs or coats in the locker room before entering the sterile area. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, with weekends mandatory as needed, typically including 1-2 Saturdays each month. The available shifts are: 1st shift from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, 2nd shift from 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm, and 3rd shift from 11:00 pm to 7:30 am. Biweekly new employee orientations occur on Mondays and Tuesdays from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.30/hr.
