Construction Project Manager
Job Description
Collaborate with stakeholders including architects, engineers, and subcontractors to define project goals and scope. Lead project teams through planning, estimating, design, installation, commissioning, and final turnover. Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets; oversee procurement and resource allocation. Ensure compliance with contract terms and manage change orders and risk mitigation strategies. Provide leadership and performance management for assigned team members. Manage billing processes, monitor financial performance, and ensure timely project closeout.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to define project goals and scope.
- Lead project teams through the entire project lifecycle from planning to final turnover.
- Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets, ensuring resource allocation is efficient.
- Ensure compliance with contract terms and manage change orders and risk mitigation strategies.
- Provide leadership and performance management for assigned team members.
- Manage billing processes and monitor financial performance to ensure timely project closeout.
Essential Skills
- Strong project management skills in construction settings.
- Experience with MEP coordination and building automation systems.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems and preferred experience in HVAC.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and lead cross-functional teams effectively.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years of project management experience, or 5+ years in construction-related roles.
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems and building automation controls.
Work Environment
Work is conducted in the office five days a week with occasional site visits. The role offers the opportunity to collaborate with large general contractors and participate in exciting technical projects, presenting ample opportunities for growth.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $160000.00/yr.
