Senior Project Manager I

SUMMARY
Mortenson is currently seeking a Senior Project Manager that will provide overall leadership direction to one large project or multiple projects to include the management of project quality, timeliness, safety, as well as mentoring the project team. Develop and enhance customer relationships by providing excellent service.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise the overall financial health of projects
Develop and maintain project financial projections and equipment projections
Handle subcontracts and suppliers for the project
Oversee budget for and make selections of subcontractors and suppliers
Handle billings and contract management, including contract buyouts
Lead Assistant Project Manager(s) and Project Engineer(s)
Function as the main point of contact with the owner and on-site representative
Assist with the review of the owner agreement
Resolve site concerns for the owner or representative
Provide frequent interactions and service to build positive relationships and future work opportunities
Handle change orders
Maintain schedule and budget until project completion
Provide high level management of quality, risk, safety, and compliance for the project and team members
Use the appropriate level of forethought and planning in decision making to assure project success
Responsible for dispute resolution
Effectively work and build relationships with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Construction, Civil, or Architectural Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent experience
Minimum of ten years construction management or related experience
Current driver's license
Proven ability to fulfill development to closeout responsibilities for multiple, complex projects
Active listening skills and effective communication including an openness to diverse input and feedback

The base pay range for this role is $140,200 - $211,200. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL - 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR - 10%, Washington, D.C. - 12.5%).
Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity.
