Job Summary: POSITION SUMMARY
Under the direction of the foreman, heavy equipment operators will be responsible for operating several types of power construction equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
Responsibilities include:
-Maintaining, fueling equipment and notifying supervisor of equipment repairs
-Preparing required documentation accurately and timely
-Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of equipment and product technology
-Perform assigned tasks in a safe, timely, accurate and efficient manner observing all safety laws, policies and rules
SAFETY AND COMPLIANCE
-We prioritize the safety and wellness of our road construction processes by following the Company's safety programs and policies, thus mitigating risk and improving overall productivity of the projects with safety at the forefront.
REQUIREMENTS
-Must be at least 18 years old
-Possess a valid current Driver's License
-Minimum 3 years' experience working on Heavy Equipment, 5+ years preferred
-Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen
-Understand and use GPS equipment
-Must be willing to work in an environment with exposure to various weather conditions
-Must be quality and production oriented and willing to follow instruction, including manuals and pertinent literature
-Must be willing to travel if required
