HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

Take ownership of design responsibilities for municipal and architectural projects, contributing to high-quality construction documents.

Collaborate with internal engineering teams and external consultants to develop innovative and compliant designs.

Apply knowledge of building, energy, and electrical codes to ensure all designs meet regulatory standards.

Perform thorough assessments of existing buildings, identifying opportunities for improvement and integration.

Lead lighting design initiatives, including photometric analyses, to enhance project outcomes.

Contribute to project pursuits and design review meetings, ensuring alignment with client goals.

Prepare detailed project narratives, cost estimates, plans, and specifications to support project success.

Oversee and perform work across all project phases, from concept to construction.

Coordinate drawings and provide technical oversight, fostering seamless communication among clients, staff, and consultants.

Conduct site observations, review shop drawings and material submittals, and manage construction administration tasks effectively.

ARE YOU AN ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING ROCK STAR?

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.

Professional Engineering License (required) with a willingness to obtain registration in additional states.

At least 5 years of professional experience in designing power distribution and controls for municipal and architectural projects.

Expertise in preparing and evaluating design options, project narratives, cost estimates, and technical documents.

Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with REVIT is a strong plus.

Specific experience in designing Motor Control Centers and conducting lighting/photometric designs.

Past experience working on water/wastewater and K-12 school projects is highly desirable.

Strong oral and written communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to manage and coordinate multiple project activities across various teams and stakeholders.
