Electrical Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician Job Description We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with expertise as a high-end industrial electrician. This role requires a balance of 70% electrical and 30% mechanical work. The ideal candidate should be proficient in reading multi-meters and working with electrical systems ranging from 24v to 480v. Responsibilities include changing drives and VFDs, troubleshooting mechanical issues, including hydraulics, bearings, pneumatics, and conveyors, as well as working with extrusion machines. Responsibilities Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance tasks, focusing on a 70% electrical and 30% mechanical split. Read and interpret multi-meters for electrical systems ranging from 24v to 480v. Change drives and VFDs as needed. Troubleshoot mechanical issues involving hydraulics, bearings, pneumatics, and conveyors. Handle maintenance and troubleshooting tasks for extrusion machines. Conduct troubleshooting on rollers and extrusion machines. Operate manual mill and lathe if required. Essential Skills Proficiency in electrical and industrial wiring. Ability to use a voltmeter for troubleshooting. Strong mechanical skills with knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveyors. Experience with extrusion machines. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in running manual mill and lathe is a plus. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Clinton, Tennessee. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.50 - $30.52/hr.
