*Develop detailed and accurate cost estimates for commercial construction projects, and potentially chemical or manufacturing facilities.
*Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to determine scope of work and material requirements.
*Perform quantity takeoffs and apply appropriate labor and material rates.
*Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of cost information.
*Collaborate with the in-house engineering team to ensure accurate integration of design and cost data.
*Negotiate subcontractor change orders and resolve cost-related issues.
*Continuously research and evaluate new construction materials, methods, and technologies.
*Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.

Skills and Requirements
*Minimum of 7+ years of experience in construction estimating, preferably with a focus on complex or technical commercial projects. Experience with chemical or manufacturing facility construction is a significant plus.
oMultidisciplinary background -- MEP, process piping, civil, etc
oBottoms up estimating, conceptual estimating
o$1M-400M estimate experience
oBluebeam and excel proficiency null
