Industrial Electrician

What You’ll Do:

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including motors, PLCs, and controls
  
  
• Install, test, and maintain industrial electrical components and systems
  
  
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to minimize downtime
  
  
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
  
  
• Ensure all work complies with local codes, safety standards, and company procedures
  
  

What We’re Looking For:

• 4+ years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting
  
  
• Knowledge of electrical systems, controls, and troubleshooting
  
  
• Familiarity with PLCs, VFDs, and motor controls
  
  
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
  
  

salary: $70,720 - $72,425 per year

work hours: 7 PM - 7 AM

Responsibilities

• 3-phase, 480V, industrial troubleshooting experience
• Assemble, install,test and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand, power, and precision measuring tools.
• Diagnoses malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
• Responsible for the connection of wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
• Responsible for observing and following all safety regulations with required PPE.
• Will report to Maintenance Supervisor or Electrical Engineer and support aspects of maintenance business.

The essential functions of this role include:

working in a smoke free environment

wearing steel toe shoes

working in a non-temperature controlled environment

manual lifting up to 49lbs

standing for 10 hours at one time
