Estimator - Heavy Highway/Bride

Job Title: Civil Estimator

Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Civil Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience estimating heavy highway and bridge construction projects . You will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates, analyzing project plans, and collaborating with project managers and engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze blueprints, specifications, and project requirements.

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, and equipment.

• Solicit and review subcontractor and supplier quotes.

• Use estimating software tools to compile data and reports.

• Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate and timely bid submissions.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience estimating heavy highway and bridge projects.

• Proficient in HCSS HeavyBid , Bluebeam , and AutoCAD .

• Strong analytical and organizational skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

• Experience working with DOT and public infrastructure projects.
