... description for a **2nd shift Fabricator-Welder** typically includes the following responsibilities and skills:- Welding and Fabrication : Join heavy steel components using GMAW-P and GTAW welding processes with ER307 stainless steel filler material.3- Quality Control : Ensure the quality and safety of products by welding and fabricating metal components, interpreting blueprints and schematics, and performing quality control checks.2- Physical Demands : Perform mostly standing work with occasional movement throughout the facility to transfer or deliver parts. Constant use of hands/fingers to handle and control welding equipment. Frequent lifting and/or pushing up to 50 pounds, with occasional lifting and/or pushing up to 80 pounds. Occasional bending, squatting, and stooping.3- Safety and Compliance : Work in a safe and clean work environment, adhering to safety rules, and following procedures for Welder performance Qualification Testing.6
