Welder and Part Fabricator**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled Part Fabricator to join our team in creating architectural steel structures such as stairs and rails for a variety of environments including hospitals, universities, and stadiums. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and fabrication, with the ability to accurately create parts from shop prints and operate industrial equipment safely and efficiently.
**Responsibilities**
+ Read and interpret job material assignments and prints to ensure accuracy in fabrication.
+ Operate and maintain equipment such as industrial saws, ironworkers, cutting torches, grinders, plasma cutters, threaders, and stud welding machines.
+ Accurately create parts from shop prints and mark piece and job numbers on all items.
+ Operate a forklift safely and stack cut materials properly for fabrication.
+ Perform other duties as required by management.
**Essential Skills**
+ 1+ year of experience welding in a structural environment.
+ Proficient in MIG welding and structural welding techniques.
+ Ability to read blueprints and weld symbols.
+ Knowledge of AWS D1.1 standards.
+ Computer proficiency and ability to read a tape measure accurately to 1/16th of an inch.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with fabricating, grinding, and operating various industrial equipment.
+ Ability to fit up and assemble items accurately before welding.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $18.00/hr.
