Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic II
Location: Lyman, Nebraska
Application Deadline: 6/23/2025
Pay rate: $18.00 per hour
Hours: Mon-Thurs 6:00 am - 5:30 pm and OT on Fridays
Interview Format: Preliminary interviews will be conducted by phone.
Adecco is currently seeking qualified candidates for a Maintenance Mechanic II position with our client in Lyman, NE. This role is responsible for repairing and maintaining machinery and mechanical equipment including engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and hydraulic systems or tools.
Essential Functions:
Install, repair, rebuild, and maintain production machinery and mechanical equipment.
Diagnose machine malfunctions and operational issues.
Rebuild and overhaul machineponents and attachments, including dismantling, inspection, machining, and replacement of parts.
Inspect used parts using precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments.
Fabricate repair parts using machine shop equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance on production machines using diagrams, sketches, manuals, and specifications.
Provide technical support by answering maintenance-related questions.
May assist in repairing electrical equipment.

Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
2 years of related industrial maintenance experience
Preferred Qualifications:
4 years of related experience
Electrical Certificate
Physical Requirements:
Strength Level: Heavy Work
Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, 25 to 50 pounds frequently, or 10 to 20 pounds constantly.
Frequent Activities (1/3 to 2/3 of the time):
Reaching, handling, grasping, and fine finger manipulation
Near vision for close tasks
Depth perception and spatial awareness
Occasional Activities (up to 1/3 of the time):
Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling
Tactile sensing, verbalmunication, hearing, adjusting visual focus
