Senior Structural Engineer

Encorus Group is seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Structural Engineer to join our team in Depew, NY. Typical systems include structural steel, reinforced concrete, masonry, timber, as well as shallow and deep foundations. We're looking for someone who can take ownership of projects from initial concept through to completion with minimal supervision.This role goes beyond just designyoull also be involved in proposal development, client and vendor coordination, and mentoring junior engineers. If you're a proactive, technically strong professional who thrives in a collaborative and innovative environment, wed love to hear from you.Responsibilities:Coordinate design efforts with in-house teams and external professionals, including architects and other engineering disciplines.Develop designs for various structures, conducting research, selecting systems, performing analyses, and preparing drawings.Assist project managers with estimates, schedules, design drawings, calculations, and project documentation.Adhere to company and industry standards while preparing calculations, drawings, and specifications.Mentor junior staff, providing guidance and reviewing their work.Collaborate with internal and external teams to resolve structural design challenges.Ensure accuracy and thoroughness of all deliverables.Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Civil or Structural Engineering10+ years of structural engineering and design experience, with a preference for consulting experience.Professional Engineer (PE) registrationProficiency in RISA3D, STAAD Pro or similar analysis software is required.Experience with Revit is a plus.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Ability to comply with company drug screening, including pre-employment test.A valid driver's license, along with the ability to travel locally and occasionally out of state.Pay Range: The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $135,000 annually. Actual compensation will be based on the candidates knowledge, skills, and experience.
