Chipton-Ross is seeking a Senior Construction Project Manager for a Direct-hire opportunity in Brentwood, TN or Louisville, KY.
JOB SUMMARY:

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in construction management, quality control, and project coordination to ensure the successful execution of projects from inception to completion.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- 7-10 years of experience in construction project management, civil engineering, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, contract administration, and quality control.
- Proficiency in reading construction drawings, project management software, and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication skills with experience working with contractors, clients, and leadership.
- Proven leadership in team management, mentoring, and problem-solving.
- Self-motivated, highly organized, and able to manage multiple projects under pressure.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (mileage reimbursed).
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee and manage multiple construction projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Supervise and coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and field personnel to ensure compliance with contract documents and project specifications.
- Conduct and document site observations and quality control inspections to ensure work is in compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and work plans to achieve project objectives.
- Read, interpret, and review construction drawings, specifications, and contracts to identify potential conflicts and discrepancies.
- Review and approve contractor invoices, change orders, and project documentation.
- Prepare and present progress reports to clients, stakeholders, and senior management.
- Track and manage project meeting minutes, action items, and correspondence.
- Ensure adherence to all safety protocols, contractual obligations, and industry standards.
- Lead and mentor junior project managers and inspectors to enhance team capabilities.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring excellent service and responsiveness.
- Support business development efforts by contributing to proposals and client presentations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by senior leadership.
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related discipline preferred.
