We are looking for a Finish Carpenter to support our home builds in Westchester and Putnam Counties. This will be very fast moving and will require you to immediately take ownership of several new home builds across multiple municipalities. You'll be responsible for warranty and punch-list work and make necessary modifications to close out new home builds.
Job Description:
- Install and various fixtures and components
- Repairing miscellaneous items such as drywall wall cracks, grouting touch-ups, loose hardware, trim.
- Train and maintain relationships with general contractors.
- Support and coordinate other skilled tradespeople for MEP related work.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines.
- Inspect workmanship and ensure quality is delivered to the highest degree for each build.
- Work cleanly and professionally around customers.
- Maintain and manage supply inventory.
- Maintain a daily log and report to customers.
- Maintain electronic and on-site physical records.
What Youll Need:
- Hands-on experience performing a wide-variety of carpentry tasks.
- General understanding of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Extremely detail oriented.
- Proficient with G-Suite (Sheets, Docs, etc).
- Ability to be adaptable to varying situations in homebuilding.
- Friendly with good interpersonal skills.
- Valid drivers license.
