Join a dynamic team as a Carpenter where you will construct, erect, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood, metal, plywood, and wallboard. Your craftsmanship will enhance both the interior and exterior of commercial, industrial, institutional, and agricultural buildings. From basic framing to finish work, you will manage projects involving stick-built, red iron, and post-frame construction. Responsibilities Construct and repair structures using carpenter's hand and power tools. Prepare and complete building tasks from framing to finish work. Work on stick built, red iron, and post frame construction projects. Use building plans provided by clients and engineers to meet construction needs. Measure and cut materials accurately. Install construction elements such as windows and plastic objects. Erect construction frameworks for further work. Inspect and evaluate the quality of intermediate construction works. Work Environment Experience a work environment that offers new commercial work and outdoor projects. Join smaller crews with a total of 35 field employees, working on small to mid-size commercial projects. Engage in a variety of specialty projects across commercial, industrial, suburban, rural, and agricultural sectors. The majority of projects range from 2-6 weeks, with longer projects lasting 4-6 months. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $35.00/hr.
