Civil Design Engineer

They're currently seeking a Civil Design Engineer to join their growing team of experts working on high-impact Phase I & II roadway design projects for top clients including IDOT, ISTHA, and local agencies. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Civil Design Engineer position include: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or actively pursuing licensure. 5+ years of roadway design experience. Experience with DOT agencies (IDOT, ISTHA, county and local) and standards. Proficient in Bentley MicroStation SS10 and OpenRoads Designer; AutoCAD a plus. Design tasks include horizontal/vertical alignments, MOT plans, 3D corridor modeling, and stormwater/erosion control plans. Responsible for developing PS&E packages for highways, tollways, and ramps. Ability to perform quantity calculations and cost estimates. Opportunity to advance into management while working under a seasoned project manager. Salary: $95,000 - $145,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
