The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with rough and finish carpentry, be comfortable working with a variety of tools and materials, and be able to work independently or as part of a team to meet project deadlines.Responsibilities:- Read blueprints, drawings, and project specifications to determine measurements and materials- Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures such as framing, walls, floors, doors, windows, stairs, and cabinetry- Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, drywall, and other materials- Ensure structures meet building codes and safety regulations- Install building frameworks, including walls, floors, and doorframes- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively- Inspect and maintain tools and equipment- Maintain a clean and safe work environment on job sitesQualifications:- Minimum of 2 years experience in industrial or commercial carpentry- Ability to read and interpret construction documents and blueprints- Proficient with carpentry tools and materials- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks- Dependable transportation to various job sites in the Mobile area- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification is a plus- Valid drivers license (preferred)Benefits:- Competitive hourly wages (based on experience)- Opportunities for overtime- Health insurance optionsSchedule:- Monday to Friday- Some weekends and extended hours may be required based on job timelines- Day shiftHow to Apply:Submit your resume or work history and contact information.
