COMPA Industries is searching for qualified candidates for a Senior Designer / Drafter position supporting our client Enercon.

Are you passionate about transforming complex engineering concepts into precise, actionable designs? Join our team as a Senior Design Drafter and be at the forefront of engineering innovation. Each day, you'll help shape technical solutions that support safety and success across multifaceted projects. You'll work independently and collaboratively to produce critical design documentation, lead by example, and elevate the drafting discipline through mentorship and leadership.

Note: This is a project-based role with strong potential for extension based on performance. The position is primarily remote, with limited on-site presence required approximately 1-2 weeks per year.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Develop and prepare complex 2D and 3D drawings using SmartPlant 3D.* Support design and drafting tasks for industrial/process projects.* Ensure high accuracy and attention to detail in all deliverables.* Collaborate with engineers and project managers to define design requirements.* Maintain adherence to project schedules and compliance standards.* Conduct drawing reviews and revisions based on team feedback.

Minimum Qualifications * Experience with SmartPlant 3D.* Proficient in 2D drafting techniques.* Strong attention to detail and quality control.* Ability to work effectively in a team environment.* Availability to travel as required. Desired Skills * Certified in SmartPlant 3D (preferred).* Experience working in DOE or industrial/process sectors.* Strong communication and organizational skills. Education & Experience Requirements * Industrial or Mechanical degree preferred (not required).* Relevant experience in drafting/design within industrial/process or DOE environments.
