Pipefitter $25-35/hr Job Description We are seeking a skilled TIG welder and pipefitter who is proficient in testing 2-inch Stainless Schedule 10 in the 6G position, as well as 2-inch Schedule 40 Carbon in the 6G position, using 6010 root, 7018 fill, and 7018 cap techniques. All work involves TIG welding, with no interest in stick welding. Responsibilities Perform TIG welding on stainless steel process pipes ranging from 6 inches to 8 inches, with some as large as 16 inches. Test 2-inch Stainless Schedule 10 and 2-inch Schedule 40 Carbon in the 6G position using specified welding techniques. Essential Skills Proficiency in TIG welding on stainless steel process pipes. Experience with pipe fitting. Additional Skills & Qualifications Ability to work with various pipe sizes and welding positions. Work Environment The role is based in an ethanol plant where the dress code requires wearing jeans, boots, and a work shirt. As part of a newly formed team following a recently won contract, employees are expected to put their best foot forward. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Fort Dodge, Iowa. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
