**Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Hi-Rail Equipment and Boat Operator to join our construction team. This role involves operating specialized hi-rail vehicles and marine vessels to support infrastructure construction and maintenance projects, particularly in rail and water-accessible environments. The ideal candidate will have experience in heavy equipment operation, a strong understanding of safety protocols, and the ability to work in diverse and challenging outdoor conditions.
**Job Responsibilities:**
Operate hi-rail equipment (e.g., excavators, dump trucks, cranes) on and around active rail lines.
Operate boats and marine equipment to transport personnel, materials, and equipment to job sites.
Perform daily inspections and routine maintenance on all assigned equipment.
Assist with general construction tasks including site preparation, material handling, and installation work.
Follow all safety procedures and regulations, including those specific to rail and marine operations.
Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and safety personnel.
Maintain accurate logs and reports related to equipment usage and job progress.
Support emergency response and repair operations as needed, including nights and weekends.
