With our historic growth, it is an exciting time to join our team of employee-owners.This opportunity entails being responsible for the leadership and management of the AirTrain Redevelopment projects design and planning activities at JFK Airport. Responsible for proactively managing the projects technical budget, schedule, technical requirements, contractual obligations, project communications and HNTBs 4 for 4 (Consistent delivery of quality work, on time, on budget, and to the clients satisfaction on every project) performance. Responsible for design oversight What Youll Do:
- Performs technical discipline tasks including research, reports, design, specification and plan preparation to ensure the most efficient and cost-effective execution of assigned projects.
- Actively manages project scope, schedule and budget. Serves as the primary client liaison to bring the schedule, budgets and scope of work to completion and to the clients satisfaction.
- Implements the firms project delivery plan using HNTBs Sophisticated Delivery Approach (SDA) on each project.
- Develops project scope and fee quotation, and assists in the preparation of proposals and contracts.
- Coordinates work efforts and reviews of work performed by project team. Supervises and mentors team to overall project objectives.
- Oversees project staffing with departments, offices and divisions.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
What Youll Need:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant degree
- 8 years relevant experience
- In lieu of education, 12 years relevant experience
What You'll Bring:
- Oversight and management of complex AirTrain planning activities as it relates to potential future expansion of the system at JFK.
- High level of self motivation to determine how best to progress design activities and provide the best solution for the client. Identifying workstreams to meet the goals and objectives of the project.
- Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams including designers, surveyors, SMEs, facility teams, specialized manufacturers.
- Exhibiting high proficiency with all standard MS Office programs.
- Ability to clearly and concisely present progress updates to senior executives.
- Managing time, proactively forecasting, and communicating project development needs.

The approximate pay range for New York is $93,650.25 - $183,098.25. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to, the individuals qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as physical work location within the state..
