ESTIMATED PAY RANGE
$75,000 - $90,000, DOE
JOB SUMMARY
As a Mechanical Design Engineer in Fargo, ND, you may: use CAD software to to implement a loader valve, create wire harness updates, design hydraulic routing, brackets, and installation drawings; remodel/redesign hood, counterweights, trim, and other items related to heavy machinery; identify system requirements including force, speed, and precision; utilize variable speed drives and ensure proper fitting to prevent leaks to reduce pressure drops and increase function; utilize automated validation tools to detect errors; ensure standard compliance with all regulatory requirements, and work collaboratively with suppliers and other Applied partners.
QUALIFICATIONS
+ Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering required
+ Exceptional skills in Creo, particularly in Surfacing Models, required
+ A minimum of 3 years of previous design experience required
+ Hands-on mechanical aptitude strongly preferred
+ Heavy equipment experience a plus
