Site Superintendent
Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Site Superintendent to oversee multiple construction projects across various locations, including Cheyenne, Dallas, Phoenix, and Boardman, OR. The role involves managing the commissioning phase of ongoing projects in live data centers, with a focus on the electrical scope. This is an opportunity for a 12-month contract-to-hire position with potential travel requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in creating the final schedule with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal scheduling staff.
  • Provide input on the schedule of values and update project completion percentages for billing purposes.
  • Ensure maximum efficiency in site logistics without interrupting client operations.
  • Collaborate with the Safety Director to maintain strict compliance with the safety plan.
  • Direct the overall site management of assigned construction projects.
  • Plan and set project schedule objectives, goals, and deadlines.
  • Review and select appropriate construction methods and strategies.
  • Report on project status, progress, and budget matters to the supervisor.
  • Facilitate the execution of the project field installation phase.
  • Produce, acquire, and maintain all required project documentation.
  • Schedule and coordinate work for project staff.
  • Ensure labor continuity in case of labor disruption or threats thereof.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to maintain project schedules during disruptions.
  • Collaborate with clients to address union or non-union labor disputes.
  • Implement and maintain the organizations quality control plan for the project.
  • Communicate quality concerns to the Construction Manager and develop action plans.
  • Implement action plans without disrupting the schedule unless agreed upon by the client.
Essential Skills
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in field construction supervision as a superintendent.
  • OSHA 30-hour certification.
  • 2 years of experience in data centers or heavy electrical experience in industrial/manufacturing facilities.
  • Professional experience with Procore.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Expertise in construction, data centers, electrical, and MEP.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr.
