Welder

Mueller Company, the nation's leading manufacturer of flow control devices for the water and gas distribution industries is seeking a 2nd shift Welder to join our team.

General Responsibilities of Welder:

Capable of performing all of the functions in the work center including:

• Layout or maker metal before welding
• Can be called to verify other welds and reworks as necessary
• Maintain working area in a clean and orderly fashion
• Make suggestions to improve cost. quality, safety and efficiency of operation
• Other duties as assigned.

Welder Job Requirements:

• Basic mathematics skills (decimals, fraction, ratios)
• Read and interpret part drawings
• Use gages, calipers, micrometer, scales, etc.)
• Submerged Arc (SAW)
• Flux Core, Semi-Automatic (FCAW)
• MIG, Solid Wire, Semi-Automatic GMAW
• Stick SMAW
• Stud Weld
• Steffan Cutter
