Field Superintendent

Alignment Metalworks is a growing decorative metal contractor seeking an experienced builder to manage field work and ensure safety, quality and production targets are met for our projects.
Duties
Coordinate with Operations Manager for scheduling crews and projects.
Manage fabrication and installation of the work - oversee crews, answer questions, solve problems and keep work moving.
Ensure work is performed Safely.
Coach, instruct and help build the skills of the construction team.
Review and coordinate new projects with the Operations Manager and Estimator.
Perform layout, field measurement and other job preparatory activities.
Skills
Collaborative leadership and a coaching mindset.
Active problem solving and the ability to make decisions on the fly consistent with company and project values and goals.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints effectively.
Excellent organizational skills with a focus on coordination and management of construction activities - Procurement, quality control, site logistics and safety
Strong communication skills with crew, clients, owners and GC Superintendents.
Self directed and proactive management.
CAD/Drafting/2D machining skills are a plus.
This position requires diverse construction and fabrication knowledge. The ideal candidate will have experience with highly finished installations requiring close coordination with other trades.
