The essential job responsibilities of the Foreman, Stores position are to train, direct and supervise employees engaged in maintaining proper levels of inventory; ordering, shipping, receiving, examining, storing, cycle counting, transferring, and issuing of materials/equipment and supplies; reconditioning/processing for sale or recycling materials and handling hazardous materials for the assigned service center storerooms.
QualificationsQualification Requirements:
To perform the Foreman, Stores role, you must:
-Have a High school diploma or General Education Development (G.E.D)
-Have 2-4 years of experience as a Material Handler or above in receiving, examining, storing, and issuing materials, equipment, and supplies; reconditioning/processing of salvage/recyclable materials and supplies; and departmental procedures.
-Successfully complete Foreman/Chief Clerk Assessment Center within three (3) months of entering job.
-Successfully complete NIMS Training within one year of entering job
-Possess a valid drivers License from state of residence
Physical Working Conditions:
Works inside/outside of warehouse/yard and around material handling equipment and hazardous materials.
