The Hudson School District is seeking a HVAC Technician to provide district wide support.

Summary: The HVAC Technician is responsible for coordinating and executing corrective HVAC repairs, refrigeration system repairs, direct digital control repairs, hvac construction projects, natural gas line testing and repairs, and hvac equipment upgrades, as well as other responsibilities. This is a full-time year round position.

Compensation: HVAC Technician salary starts at $39.59 per hour according to the Teamsters collective bargaining agreement.

Qualifications:

• Certification in HVAC from technical college or trade school and 5 years experience required.
• Must have a thorough knowledge of federal, state and local refrigerant management codes and be certified in Universal EPA refrigerant.
• Must possess NH gas fitters license and have a thorough knowledge of state and local gas codes.
• Advanced knowledge of direct digital controls (DDC) operation and experience with DDC control software.

Working Conditions: HVAC Technician salary starts at $38.43 per hour according to the Teamsters collective bargaining agreement. Our benefit package includes a competitive cost share for health, dental and life insurance at no cost to the employee, and participation in NH retirement system. Additional benefit plans include vision, FSA, 403b participation and a variety of AFLAC plans. The Teamsters collective bargaining agreement with Hudson School District provides for sick, holiday, vacation and personal time.
