Role Description
We are a professional flooring company seeking Skilled Flooring Installers to join our growing team. As an installer, you will be responsible for the high-quality and timely installation of various flooring materials across residential and commercial projects. We are looking for detail-oriented, self-disciplined professionals who take pride in their craftsmanship and can follow precise instructions and standards. This position might require travel to and from job sites.

Key Responsibilities
- Accurately measure, cut, and install flooring materials including tile, LVT, carpet, and more
- Interpret project specifications, blueprints, and manufacturer guidelines
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite daily, including proper material disposal
- Conduct regular progress updates using our digital tools (BusyBusy app)
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet daily production targets
- Report any discrepancies, issues, or safety concerns immediately
- Follow safety standards and wear proper PPE at all times
- Handle and care for tools and equipment responsibly

Qualifications
- Proven experience with flooring materials: LVT, tile, carpet, etc.
- Ability to read and follow architectural plans and technical instructions
- Strong physical condition for labor-intensive work
- Self-discipline, punctuality, and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving materials and methods
- Safety-focused, professional demeanor, and reliable
- Own transportation/Car
- All Tools needed to complete job
- Valid driver licence

Physical Requirements
- This is a physically demanding position requiring strength, endurance, and attention to detail. To perform the essential functions of this role, installers must be able to:
- Lift and carry up to 75 lbs frequently (e.g., boxes of tile, rolls of carpet, buckets of adhesive)
- Stand, kneel, bend, and crouch for extended periods of time throughout the workday
- Climb ladders, work on knees, and perform overhead work as needed
- Use hands and arms to operate tools and handle materials with precision
- Work in various environments including occupied homes, commercial job sites, and unfinished construction areas
- Tolerate exposure to dust, adhesives, and occasional loud noises (hearing protection available when necessary)
- Maintain balance and coordination when working on uneven surfaces or with large flooring materials
- Wear and maintain personal protective equipment (PPE) including safety glasses, hard hats, gloves, and steel-toe boots
