WOOD PRODUCTS

The Wood Products division is one of the largest sawnwood producers in Europe and a leading provider of sustainable wood-based solutions for the construction industry globally. The growing Building Solutions business offers building concepts to support low-carbon construction and eco-friendly designs. Stora Enso develops digital tools to simplify the design and construction of building projects with wood. In addition, we offer applications for windows, doors and packaging industries, as well as pellets for sustainable heating solutions.

Qualifications & experience

• Driver's license & Forklift license essential
• Product experience with timber will be highly advantageous but not essential
• Has worked in a warehouse/storage yard previously
• Strong commitment to quality control and working to schedules
• Basic computer skills essential
• RF scanning experience

Tasks & responsibilities

• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (loading and unloading trucks)
• Receive and process Timber Packs (container unloads, putting stock away)
• Prepare & treat timber packs working with inbuilt treatment plant
• General administration duties to be included i,e RF Scanning, printing & manifesting delivery notes, WMS inventory control & Stocktaking.
• Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
• Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
• Manual handling of timber and materials at times
• Ensuring the yard is a safe working environment and optimize space utilization
• Maintain housekeeping standards at high level throughout the warehouse and yard.
